3 Ways to Cope with Overwhelm

Uncategorized
It's easy to get overwhelmed when you're trying to maintain a job, pay the bills, have strong relationships with people around you, take care of yourself and start a creative career. Hell, even trying to find time to write a journal can be complicated. But ignoring your creative urges will only lead to you resenting other aspects of your life, including your job and your relationships with other people. You have to carve that time out of your day--however small the chunk of time might be--in order to continue enjoying life. 5 Things to take away from your Nanowrimo experience

I also love my friends, of which I have many, most of whom live quite a distance from me. It is very easy to get dristracted by friends or by one of a million other things. It is hard to balance school, writing, and all of my friendships. I have tried many times to create a writing schedule. I have tried to designate three or four hours of my day to writing. I have tried just saying that I would spend an hour every day writing. I have tried all kinds of things; most of them have failed. This year, instead of spending…
